The side characters do feel a bit one dimensional like individuals but they do have some great traits. Both Yoshida and Sayu development were paid off in the end. Humans does have good and bad side right, through Higehiro i really felt that the characters were doing their best to be themselves. I have to admit the main reason i stay loyal watching this anime is because the characters are felt really connected to me. The opening was a really great and the ending was quite nice. Gotta respect the voice actors of the whole cast whom did very good in portraying their characters. I’m not really concern about the art as i do believe the intention of the anime is much focused on the storyline rather than the graphics itself but if Higehiro was given a better visual, i think a lot more people will be watching it. It’s quite refreshing to see a lot of wholesome moments and dramatic scenes synchronised well in this series. A simple setup for a drama anime with everyone has their own issues in life which i felt they did able to solve them. I understood some flaws was expected to be as i believe some parts had to be rushed to finish up the whole light novel. In the anime community, i was seeing a lot of expectations and praise was given for just 1 episode. Higehiro started off with a great memorable intro Yoshida and Sayu was introduced to us as imperfect human beings that needed a lil bit of dose of motivation or encouragement towards life.
